birthright is a 10 day trip to Israel. You can go to the dead sea, climb Mazadah, visit Jerusalem, have fun in Tel Aviv and much much nore!

Jewish Heritage Month and JIF (Jews, Israelis, and Friends)


Jewish Heritage Month and JIF (Jews, Israelis, and Friends) meetings are held every Monday at 12 on campus in the quad in front of the library so come join!

 
Hebrew class


Foothill is offering a Hebrew class this Fall for anyone who is interested. The class is Hebrew 1, a college degree-applicable course, at the Middlefield Campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:20.

EMERSON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM


Dear Students,
StandWithUs is pleased to announce that we will be starting the new
EMERSON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM in the Fall. This program will give an opportunity to 35 students across North America to become leaders on their respective campuses for the 2007-8 academic school year. Only serious advocates will be considered.

Emerson Fellows will be:

Charismatic and dynamic with clear leadership experience Knowledgeable in Israel's history, geography and society Organized and motivated to educate their peers A strong team player Passionate about helping to tell Israel's story on campus

Fellow responsibilities will include:

Representing StandWithUs on campus.
Organizing speaker programs and campaigns.
Working closely with StandWithUs staff to create and implement exciting programs on your campus.

Students will receive a stipend.

Additionally, fellows will be brought to an annual international student conference November of 2007 in Southern California. This year's "Israel In Focus" Conference is going to be Nov 9-11, 2007 in Santa Monica, California. Fellows will be coming in one day early for a special pre-conference seminar on November 8.
